APMMA delegation led by President APMMA, His Excellency Meer Behrose Regi met with Divisional Superintendent Railways Quetta, Imran Hayat in his office.
The agenda was to discuss connecting the entire mining areas specially Chromite, Marble, Onyx, Iron Ore, Coal and rest of the Mineral rich areas through railways network for swift easy access to the main market.

The details are as follows:-
1. Connectivity of entire Coal field (coal mining areas) with Railways network so that to overcome the issue of Axle load and ensure proper carriage of the entire Coal to the main market via railways freight service, specially Quetta, Harnai and Bolan Mach, where the coal depot and its operational mechanism already exists in all areas which need to be made functional through proper procedures while taking into account APMMA’s recommendations.
2. The Chaghi Mining sector’s uplifting was discussed in detail, specially the new railway line construction with support of REKO DIQ Project, to provide appropriate facilitation to small and medium scale mine owners, to reap benefits from all proposed interventions in District Chaghi.
3. Connectivity of Dukki Coal Field through Railway track which is almost 75 KM from Sanari Railway station, district Harnai, so that to connect the entire Coal field with railways network.
4. The concept note was presented, with all its benefits for railways as well as the advantages for the small scale mine owners, with details to tackle the hindrances through the platform of SIFC and Secretary Railway at federal level.
The APMMA delegation comprised of Malik Hassan Raza Awan, Senior Vice President APMMA, Fateh Shah Arif, Secretary General APMMA, and Abdul Nabi Nasar.
