APMMA delegation led by His Excellency President APMMA, Meer Behrose Regi met with Aamir Amin Bhatti, Chief Provincial taxes Inland Revenue, Policy Wing, Islamabad in his office. The issue of GST and consideration of Mining Sector with more relief in the upcoming budget was proposed and suggestions were presented to his staff and office. It was decided that, APMMA needs to submit their formal proposal to FBR before the upcoming budget.
Further, it was decided that, APMMA and FBR will jointly improve the mechanism of Federal Taxes without putting further burden on the mining community.
APMMA’s delegation comprised of, Fateh Shah Arif Secretary General APMMA, Sardar Nadeem Hayat, Chairman Lakrha Coal Field Abdul Samad Raisani ,Shaikh Mohammad Inam, Abbas Shah, Akbar Khan Nasar, Syed Idrees Agha, Sardar Murtaza Khan Jogezai, Haji Zarnawaz Khan Wazir and Aoon Abbas.
